The event was held two weekends ago, took place at Esplanade, Padang Kota Lama, Penang. The word "12 hours" might be horrifying, but I've been to the 12 hours International Walk in Putrajaya, so no biggie for me. The event was held side by side with the Penang 12 Hour International Walk, and since the beginning, I had this feeling that the Fitness event gonna suck somewhere and sometime as the Walk event would be the priority even though the Fitness event's participants outnumbered the Walk event.

Us girls gone crazily wild!!! As a plan of abducting the bride-to-be for a trip, the minute we had everyone OK with the date, we got the funding, ferry tickets, accommodation all set, and we went off for a weekend getaway. We being me, Theresa, Jynn and Aimi. Oh, it's not as simple as 'OK'. Us girls have been wanting to go for a girls' day getaway for a long time, but Aimi's been busy with all the ups and downs in her life lately, part of it is because of her wedding in Dec. When Jynn got fed up with Aimi's school's unnecessary menial duties that kept her so busy, she warned:"Aimi, you better leave all this nonsense behind and go with us, or else I'm gonna be a mafia and kidnap you from school there and then!" ...and, threat worked!

Pre CNY: 1) Did a DIY hair dye again this year, using the same Liese Bubble Hair Dye but tried a different shade of color - pinkish range Cassie Berry. Decided to do it two weeks prior to CNY is because by that time, the smell would gone and the color would be more obvious, so the timing is just nice~ Bought the box at The Store for a dirt cheap price, RM26! (Retail price would be RM32++) Then only I realized the manufacturing date was on July 2011, so I leave a note on Liese's FB page for enquiry, and the rep said there is a life span of 3 years for all Liese products. Since my scalp doesn't feel any discomfort yet, let's just touch wood and hope it doesn't comes with any side effects in the future. Anyway, the first wash after dye (and on photo too) showed a very distinct reddish and pinkish shade, but as time goes by, the color started to be blonde/yellowish. LOL yep this happened waaay before CNY... Before you ask, the 'LOVE' refers to my dearie friend, Hoon Shien, my besties buddy for, what, 15 years and counting! The trip planning started since my birthday, when she SMS-ed wishing me happy birthday and updated me some of her 'shocking' life events. Back then, she was still working in Perak, so I beria-ia wanted to visit her as I 'promised' I would do that for few years she worked there. Of course, it didn't come true as she was in the process of transfer to KL. Few months later, we chatted again, and she sounded upset, so I had to make the trip happened. And so I did. Took the latest bus to KL, 11.30pm, but the driver didn't seem to care about the speed limit, I arrived KL at 5am!! -___- Please note that Pudu station is NOT open until 5.30am, so if you arrive early, you have to stay outside with the rest of the group - no worries too, I had a whole bunch of people waiting outside at the ungodly ho...

Since the Vietnam trip posts are so overdue, might as well make it freaking overdue. LOL Went to Hatyai last weekend with a bunch of aunty-level friends, five of us, three married and happily away from home for a weekend getaway. It's actually a trip planned out of 'vengeance', because of some misunderstanding and crooked feelings. AH how I love this group of friends. We car-pooled to the border at 10am after breakfast, there was a long queue at the immigration counter. Please be kindly noted that they have this 'unwritten law' at the counter, subjecting to Malaysians ONLY, that they would ask RM1 from you when you hand over your passport/border pass to be stamped, UNLESS they don't ask for it then you don't have to pay. Theresa held a pre-Christmas party at her place last Thursday. Managed to be back on Thursday morninf and thank goodness the dizziness didn't attack me (Felt dizzy the whole day on Tuesday after arriving Johor, consequence of sleeping in the moving bouncy van) It was the pot luck style again, but this time, since I wasn't around, all I sponsored were soft drinks. The meal the girls prepared was so yummeh!!!! Theresa prepared cookies (with Lee Jynn) and macaroni with beef; Rachel prepared Nando style set meal with chicken, salad and corn, and chocolate fondue!; Aimi cooked spaghetti. My tummy is so happy!! ^^ Look at the food!! The girly talks were fun! The gossips, the X rated, the old times, this and that... I was still in the tired mode as after traveling for 14 hours, I cleaned my room and their cage for the whole day, and Zumba in the evening, so I was all ears for the talks. And also photography sessions by Tess's Christmas tree :) Went home a little early ...

 Actually, this was last weekend's activities, but I was unknowingly busy with stuffs and whatnot, my blog was totally neglected -__- Last weekend was both hectic and fun with girls activities! Theresa's husband wasn't around for the weekend, so she asked us (Lee Jynn and I) to overnight at her place as a company. That Friday, I was not in a good shape as I was in the massive headache (yet I still went for badminton. It was so much fun yo with all those hyper energetic guys!!) . Reached her place, had my supper, popped a Panadol, and I was literally tipsy while hearing them chat, so I excused myself to go to bed. The next day (Saturday), we went to Alor Star for some girls shopping. Honestly, I was such a bad shopper lah~ It was quite a rush as we needed to come back to Kangar for our Zumba buddy, Aimi's engagement party. This clueless and speechless 'thing' happened yesterday, when I thought yesterday was 10th, FOR THE WHOLE FREAKING DAY! Funny thing was, I checked my phone for date, wrote the 11/9 on my note book and 'account' book for few times, and still I thought it's 10th!! Why is it so important that I remembered the date wrong? Did a one day trip around Perlis last weekend. Venue: Wang Kelian - Padang Besar - Chuping - Kuala Perlis. 1 st stop: Wang Kelian I have heard for years about the steepy and 九曲十八弯 road going to Wang Kelian, and everyone who talked about the road has never been to Gunung Jerai, so I can't get a comparison out of it, so this time, I can :) Wang Kelian is one of the two border towns between Malaysia and Thailand. This one is much smaller than Padang Besar, but the variety of goods sold here is indeed tremendous. From the common-est things like shoes and foods to the more 'unique' things like bicycles, small machinery and hardware stuffs, you can find it here. Since it's the first Sunday on the fasting month, the market was not as crowded and hectic as it used to be. It seems to be more Thailanders than Malaysians here. 又要写一篇不是很新的部落文了... 上个星期回家一趟，因为要立外公外婆的墓碑。 询问了‘专家’。他说十八号是好时好日! 天赦时天赦日! 所谓天赦，就是你那时跟‘上面的’祈求任何事物，祂都会approve! 只是，改天再跟你算！ （这就是为什么我欣赏这种礼教-祂不会完全赦免，只是收着以后跟你算!) 每交一次新朋友，他们都‘有幸’见识到我那 可爱的爸爸 。 因为这次，他又长途跋涉地过来陪我驾车回家。 要说我不孝就尽管说吧，反正我的爸爸就是这么伟大这么可爱。 去找了我的麻吉和见见我可爱的干儿子乐乐。 也天才地忘了做一件事：跟可爱干儿子拍照！！ -_- 麻吉做了一大盘丰富午餐： ^很多料啊～～肚子饿了没？ 干儿子乐乐太可爱了，一直笑一直笑，一脸喜洋洋的。 也见识了他惊天动地的哭声。宏亮到～～～丹田很赞噢 :p 希望我的未来小外甥也是个喜洋洋的小宝贝 :) 向各位关心的朋友们报告一下:我的大姐很好 :) 她是个超级无敌坚强的大女人! 好喜欢摸她的肚子。 亲家母也有提议我到他们家过夜，让他们家热闹热闹一点。 只是我呆的时间太短，不然肯定睡那里的。 伤痛总会有的，可是Life has to go on... 立墓碑当天，娘也买了个‘未来的家’给自己和爹。 我和妹确实有点乍舌。 我更错愕，以为是自己多嘴乱提议。 还好爹娘反应良好。 不久两老就要退休了。 我们每每问到退休后要做什么，两老都说: “在家里吵架咯~” -________________- 真是对不想让女儿回家静心的两老啊～ 就酱! :)

...says the gal who is single for almost 3 years. It's just another weekday in Perlis. We still went to lab, ate, chit chat etc etc, as normal as any other day can be. We did have some simple V Day celebration before the yoga class. Theresa declared a V Day theme for the yoga, everyone wearing red/pink outfit to her class, photo taking sessions, and cupcake makan time! :) ^Group pictah before class! ^The sweeties Theresa - instructor and great bff! ^LOL You know me, I do stuffs like that :)

Pre CNY: 1) Had my haircut at a self-operated saloon in Kuala Perlis, decided not to do hair dye at the shop, instead a DIY hair dye kat rumah ~ This should be the second time I DIY-ed hair dye, and I chose... ^Liese 泡泡染发剂 aka Liese Bubble Hair Color Wanted to take the pink-ish color range like Cassie Berry but it wasn't available at that particular Guardian and was too lazy to look for it at another place, so picked up the Sweet Apricot color since my hair is kinda dark-ish and a bright color might stand out more easily. I was very cautious about doing this and kiasu-ly reading the instructions over and over again. Anyway, it wasn't that easy as I thought yet not too hard either, just that I didn't know how to properly lather the bubbles on my hair. ^Waiting 30 mins... ^Work done! After countless invitation, I finally went to Ai Ling (housemate)'s house in Penang for new year countdown and weekend getaway. We arrived at Juru Auto-city at around 6pm to avoid traffic jam. Strolled around the place and had dinner at IceIceBaby. P/S: The Star published the picture of the crowd with us inside on the front page!! :D ^ Dinner~ Well, it's quite a boring night I must say. It was the most un-happening and 'quiet' new year countdown event I've ever been to (this was the second time I've been to one though, LOL) There was a Belly Dance Competition held. We fought our way to the 'front line' for a better sight, which we all regret to the max half way. The competition was kinda bored as almost all contestants were the same in all categories. So, 来来去去都是那些人, a little too plain. ^The MC and audience was playing some games on the stage After the competition was over, we thought at least some good performance should be taken place...
