Happy birthday 3 Yi ^^ Hiiiiii youuuuuu *muaks* *muaks* *muaks* Had a birthday getaway to Taiping, Perak, with Hon. Took the komuter from Arau to Taiping is such a breeze - although I need to interchange at Bukit Mertajam station. It took me 3 hours and RM14.10 to get there. I made a tad complaint about my birthday when we first started dating was staying at a new (refurbished) hotel and a dinner buffet at E&O Hotel, and now THIS - just a getaway to some town and sleeps in a hostel (we took private room lah) with shared toilets! After a (two if you read the Mandarin version too) solemn post, I'll refresh this blog with something else to lighten the mood a little. My birthday was on two weekends ago. It was a rather quiet birthday this year, a very simple celebration with the one I love :) Started the day early with a badminton friendly match with UTAR.  I think I might have a stage fright, or maybe in this case, match fright because I performed miserably =.= Must be because hardly been in competition these days. Us girls only compete in Women Double and Mixed Double, so after our games, the UTAR girls requested for another game for fun, and I played so much better haha! Even when I played with a bet in hand also OK ar *chet* Hon making a spontaneous trip to the North for me, and we spent two days in Alor Setar, which I finally had the chance to explore the place in depth. We stayed at a Rainbow Hotel near Alor Setar Mall, had a coffee at a café near town, visited the newly opened Aman Centra...

That means 'much love for your birthday' in German. I'm picking up my long lost German language using Duolingo App, and it is so damn awesome!! I'm currently in 15 days streak now, supposed to be more lah but one day the Internet was horrible and I skipped a day hence lost the streak -_- We did not talk about my birthday plan at all, because when I asked once some time ago, Hon just said:"Do what? His birthday is conveniently landed on the International Women's Day; With his sampat kepochi personality, he fits in just fine. I made the birthday boy Konnyaku jellies which turned out to be a little nasty as it melted! Fortunately it didn't spoil the taste.

This clueless and speechless 'thing' happened yesterday, when I thought yesterday was 10th, FOR THE WHOLE FREAKING DAY! Funny thing was, I checked my phone for date, wrote the 11/9 on my note book and 'account' book for few times, and still I thought it's 10th!! Why is it so important that I remembered the date wrong? I sent her a birthday message last night at about 10PM local time (approx 12AM in Brisbane) to wish her happy birthday (to show how 'accurate and early' I am LOL) , without realizing anything wrong... until I heard the news on 12AM talked about 911 attacks 'which has just passed and yadda yadda', then I hurriedly checked my phone... and yes, it was 12th Sept. I get a lunch treat from Su Natasha! Love love ^^ That girl was just arriving Perlis on Monday morning after a trip to Kuantan. We had our lunch at Anjung Keli, a 'kinda' famous restaurant in Kangar with pricey meals. We chatted like there's no tomorrow, shared some stories and the time passed without we realising it. She even managed to write a blog post for me . Touched! :) At night, I had another meal gathering with juniors at Secret Recipe. I played a big role in brainwashing them. Haha!! ^Chocolate Strawberry! ^The cakes! ^with Jen Shin :) ^With Wan Zheng :) It's pretty tiring, I guess, to take pictures with me because I just don't like to take a stereotype pictures. Haha! Plus, with so many thick chocolates on the cake, it's pretty much impossible for me NOT to do my usual crazy stuff - the granny teeth. The girls literally resented it. Luckily the handsome housemate came back the night before, or else it's kinda creepy to stay home alone. The day began normally. I woke up at 7.47am (exactly), getting ready, and off I went to research cluster. I settled down, prepared breakfast, set up laptop, and began my usual breakfast drama meal. Replied the birthday wish sms. The internet connection was suck. When the drama (was watching Castle season 2 episode 13) was about 10 minutes more to finish, a MSc buddy came over to sort of complain about the allowance forms we suppose to submit by today, but our supervisor was so late to give us any response. Then, things got a little tension. We rushed here and there to settle the matter, only to find out that mine was no problem at all, but their problem was all over the place which to say that I AM a damn good liar. Haha!! It was another day in University. Yet, it was filled with blissfulness. I received birthday wishes from sms and Facebook message since two days before the actual day. When the clock struck 12 o' clock in the midnight on 4th October 2009, my housemates stuck themselves at the door to give me a loud and clear birthday wish , yet I was outside washing my face and brushing my teeth, everything was clearly seen through the window. First thing in the morning, I checked my Facebook wall to see who dropped by for a birthday wishes (What? Attention whore you say? I am and I know thank you) . And I was surprised by this , a video directed by my younger sister Lim Tino, starring Lim papa, Lim mama, Lim Da Jie and Lim Er Jie. Yesterday (100909) was cuteness overload day. Why? Everyone is being so overload-ly cute and adorable!! Someone who we don't really expect they can really be this hilarious and cute. First off , the ever-funny Etnik lecturer Mr. I. It's his Mid-term test today. I read the notes but couldn't remember it. So we 'shared' our information among us. After the test, answer sheets were collected and distributed back to different groups (we have two groups in this lecture) to mark the answer. Gosh I never know Unimap students are so good! Isarel Pakistan (should be Israel Palestine) , Irish Utama (should be Utara) , arus perkasa (should be perdana) , 31 Mei (should be 13 Mei) , Denmark Sudan (absolutely wrong) etc etc etc... A belated post for myself. =p I'm finally 24! ^^ This year's celebration is rather a simple one. I dated Hoon Shien on 3rd Oct. We chang toi kiok at Noodle's Station. She treated me drink ^^ We chatted a lot and updating each other about our stuffs. Both of us also can't remember when is the last time we saw each other. We felt very ke xi coz most of our 38 buddies are not in KB, especially Hui Pheng and Jasmine. After that I sent her back home (forgot the road already adui =.=). Hang out at her house for awhile, then I went back home. Gosh it was SO jam!!! I took about 1 hour to reach my house which usually will take around 20 minutes only! =.= On 4th Oct we went out together again. Her dad fetch us to KB Mall. He turned a BIG circle to go to KB Mall because he worried the usual road will be very jam.
